Much love for the flyout/analyser style EQ's here too, both the quad curve and fab filter.  I remember being frustrated that I could only open when one pro channel at a time when it was first introduced but I am used to it now.  If nothing else it does avoid clutter for those times when screen real estate is at a premium  What I couldn't count though is the number of times that I find myself adjusting an EQ or compressor on a soloed channel seemingly without result,  only to find I have the wrong pro channel open. Unfortunately it is pretty tough to blame anything but my own stupidity:)

It's worse when you adjust the EQ or compressor and hear the difference, then realise you were adjusting the wrong one, and the change was all in your head. 😊

Not that I've ever done that, obviously... 😉

Haha.  Me either.  Looks away awkwardly.

I guess I suffer from the same stupidity because I have done that to many times to count, very frustrating. While we are venting if you will is there a way to undock the visual eq? I would love to be able to move it around so I can my tracks better while I am using it or is this another symptom of my own stupidity again :)

Nope, you can't move it around although you can pin it.

I hear you BMOG -  that would be a great feature, as would being able to solo a channel from within the prochannel when the flyout is open. The only way at the moment is via an external controller.

The QuadCurve EQ is pretty much my favorite EQ of all time but I don't use it as often as I would like  largely because of the inability to float the window, have multiple open at the same time, resize it, add it as a normal effect rather than ProChannel, etc., etc..  They could release a separate QuadCurve product that adds stuff like this plus soloing, etc. and I'd happily pay a $100 (or whatever) upgrade fee.

Or you could pay slightly more than that and get ProQ2 from FabFilter which does everything and more than the QC does. Sorry if I'm starting to sound like a broken record. I really love that thing.

I share your ProQ2 love Sander,  and would add the ProC2 for visuals alone!
