if you're considering eq purchase, you should also review the DMG audio offerings - when i was fishing a couple of years a go i ended up going for equality (& equick) over the ff offering, just due to price i think... equick's probably my goto for track eq

Or you could pay slightly more than that and get ProQ2 from FabFilter which does everything and more than the QC does. Sorry if I'm starting to sound like a broken record. I really love that thing. 



Actually, I have the Pro-Q 2 and use it often but I just don't like it nearly as much.  I like the QuadCurve interface much better (knobs for all bands always visible at the bottom, etc.) and I find the QuadCurve sounds more musical to my ears.  The Pro-Q 2 is nice but Cakewalk really hit it out of the park with the QuadCurve.

I have to admit I am really close to paying for the subscription, with the new Mastering EQ and Lounge Lizard alone as a keyboard player I was blown away
