  • TH3 Vs. TH2 Producer: missing features?

If I understand correctly, what was "Amp" module in TH2 now splitted to separate modules in TH3 Calewalk, so there's no more SLR nor VariFire technologies.
Also, what was "Rock/Roll" switch in THD Univalve module now is just a decorative element, so this module in TH3 is like a half of it's TH2 version.
Well, are there features really gone? And did they also gone from full version of TH3?
And... how it could be possible for TH3 to replace missing instance of TH2 and be "sonically identical" if there was SLR and VariFire used with TH2?

Yeah, TH3 is missing some things some better things with the interface.

Th3's overall preset browser is much easier to navigate. It also reopens to the last bank/preset after closing the program. TH2 always seemed to revert to bank1 sound1 variation 1 upon reopening.

However, there is no display with the patch name viewable if the browser is closed for screen space.

Also, there is no option, as there was in TH2, to save settings in a component (this function was called a preset in TH2) that could be recalled for use in different PRESETS in TH3 (what TH2 called SOUNDS)

Overloud explained to me that they thought the smart panel was too complicated for people to use effectively, and that MIDI implementation would take care of that functionality (of course we know that the VST version is still being worked on to get this to work)
