Just so you know, the mike would have absolutely nothing to do with your problem.
Analog devices have no effect on what happens in the computer.
You interfaces drivers are where the problem would be.
Sometimes on board sound card drivers can cause the message your seeing. Disable.
Another common issue is with HDMI audio drivers interfering. Disable.
You would have been seeing that ASIO driver ( 2) only if you tried installing the driver 2 times.
You ASIO driver install might not have gone cleanly.
Obliterate all traces of the driver including the registry and try again following the instruction word for word. It can be a simple as plugging in the USB cable at the wrong time during installation.
