I've been using it for a week. Great little interface.

6 in and 4 our with the DSP.

I use it with a PC laptop for the ouputs of MIDI (Keyboard part) and a Vocal Harmony Track) in Sonar X2 Producer with a band I play in.

I like it. The drivers are solid. I love this little piece of gear.

I was using a Tascam Us-1641 for the same purpose.

The Ur 44 is better and I don't need to rack it and I give the drummer a better in ear monitor mix of the whole band using the dsp.

Four stars!

I agree. It can do so much being iOS and Win compatible.
It doesn't give me any problems on Win 10 64 with Sonar, Studio One, or Cubasis.
I have learned how to setup cue mixes with it as well as re-amping.
It sounds great too!

I am running it on Windows 10 as well. Also had Zero problems with driver install. If you or anyone is using it live at shows - The dsp is the icing on the cake for my use. I have done some test recording with it but I will probably just continue using my Tascam us 1641 from the home studio stuff "serious recording" stuff. for a interfacing running a couple of backing tracks live along with acting as the in ear monitor for the drummer - It just blows away my old method of having to split tracks and send it to a separate mixer for in ears with the drummer - less crap to carry to a gig - has great inputs pre's ad the dsp - which is what I use a monitor from the board to the drummer -

Almost purchased the presonus version of their similar model with the dsp - read a lot of nightmares about driver issues

Very relieved and happy this is working out (Knock on Wood) First gig outside of practice with it will be Feb 6 ...

Your post on the Ur44 nudged me to call my sweetwater Rep -- we know watch other well from over the years - I think there customer service is great as well -- if you get the sweetwater credit -- you cant beat it zero percent and forever and a year to pay it off - Although I've paid off mine rather quickly - just because I dont like debt hanging there -

none the less - again - great little unit so far

To those looking ....

if you need a solid little interface - this is one of them!! Go get it. Tell em LARGE MARGE SENT YA!

my old ears need a louder headphone volume.  Glad I'm not a drummer.

I really like the reverb plug in. I'm pretty sure the amp sim is using the same engine as the Yamaha DG amps and DG Stomp. The same pre amps without the effects. I wish I could figure out how to bypass the mixer software. More than once I've been recording guitar and had the DSP kick in when I thought it was off. A panic button would be nice just as a quick check.

Wow! Did it just malfunction and turn on the reverb on its own?

I was trying to help you and find away to uninstall just the DSP but I couldn't find a way either.

So far when I have the reverb control off or down it stays that way. Same with the EQ.

Don't forget that there are two options for each channel on the DSP. One option allows the EFX to be included in the recorded signal and the other is for monitoring only.
Or did you already know that!

I'm of the impression you can't record the reverb.  Just the channel fx.  The reverb of course can be added later as a VST3.

I am was under the same impression Mixmkr is - they wont record but the vst is available to add to your DAW

how do you get it to record the fx?

The FX will record, but the reverb is for monitoring.  IT's actually a little confusing....After you push the green button to activate the FX, click the INS FX "button" and you will get the options of 1.Ins FXor 2. Mon FX. Then...you can pick the channel strip or one of the 4 guitar amps on the selection, just below the green and blue buttons.  THe INS FX button will ONLY insert those items and does not have the ability to insert the verb in the recording chain.
