After installing the latest CakeLab update today, my VST scan found 1 new plugin.
I haven't added any new plugins lately, so what is this new mystery plugin ?
Don't see any new plugs listed in the new features, anybody else get this after updating ?

I did a scan with 2018.6 and did not find any new plugins.

I also am showing one new plugin, not sure what it is.

I'm wondering if it is some kind if result from the "VST Scan enhancements"
 . . . which, as someone pointed out is turned on by default.

Might be a plugin that was failed before and has now been successfully scanned with the new sandbox?

I hope that's what it is, but wish there was a way to find out which plugin it is . . . rogue plugins have caused problems on my system in the past, I've just never had the time to check out all 500 of them.

Not sure about that, perhaps, but I only have CbB installed on an old laptop to transfer a few projects done in Platinum over to Studio One that have been waiting patiently for a couple of years, and as such the laptop has no plugins other than what comes with CbB, I applied the update last night and got the same 1 new plugin thing, so if it was a plug failing it would have been one that is included in CbB by default.

It seems the mystery plug remains a mystery, for now.

I too have 1 new plugin! Not sure what it is either but I look forward to discovering it one day!

I likewise have 1 new plugin!!! I check all my plugins and could not find anything new????
