Anyone have luck getting TH3 to work with a midi controller? Keeping and responding to midi input?
 
I am trying to use a Native Instruments Kontrol Rig 3. TH3 seems to recognize the input and appears to midi learn the CC#, but does not then effect any changes.
 
 

I read on another post that it does not work on TH3 Cakewalk Edition. I believe it's in the process of being fixed by Overloud & Cakewalk.

I heard that too...I just wanted to see if anyone had any more input...BTW I was using the (presumably) full functioning demo directly from Overloud, not the Cake version.

I sent a support request to Overloud last week about this issue. They said they're in the process of fixing it, but did not say when the fix would be ready.

When opening TH3 today, I got a message asking if I wanted to download the new version 3.1.6 of TH3.  This is for the "FULL" TH3 which I purchased a couple months ago.  I can't get Midi Prog changes to work in SONAR with this new version but the standalone works fine.  I didn't have this problem with the prior 3.0.5 version. 
Things I tried - after installing new version, I first did a rescan of VST plugins and now TH3 shows up as a VST3 audio effects plugin (In prior 3.0.5 version it was just VST).  I have a template track consisting of an audio track with TH3 inserted in the effects bin and a 2nd track that's Midi and is set to control TH3.  I've tried creating the 2 tracks from scratch, checked TH3 has "Enable Midi input" checked in plugin header.  After none of that worked, I tried configuring TH3 as instrument and effect and that doesn't work.  Can't get any program changes to work.  Wish I'd held off on installing new version.
 

Anyway, I uninstalled full TH3 version 3.1.6 and put 3.0.5 back on and everything including program changes is working in both Sonar and standalone.  I also had to delete the TH3-64.dll that apparently came from 3.1.6 for some reason to get VST scan to quit complaining.
