Just for future reference I do know all of this . I have been using cakewalk's product for over 20 years now.  I am fine with finding installed plugins. I am pretty sure they are not on my system.

Has Guitar Rig 5 and Line6 Pod 2.5.
Tried TH3 this morning (09:00 now in Sweden) and it sounds really sweet.
Needed a rock sound and used one of the Cakewalk extra presets.

Have'nt had time to check out the LP eq or compressor yet. Had to rush to work 😊.

If TH3 isn't the full version, TH2 wasn't, I think it's time to uppgrade!

TH3 sounds good but I hate the UI. Wish it was more like GR.

Guitar Rig, IMO, has the easiest GUI. TH2/3 GUI flat out sucks, IMO.

TH3 has full compatibility with TH2 when run in SONAR. We have brand new support in SONAR to allow automatic in place upgrades from prior versions of TH2 stored in projects or even FXChains. TH3 itself is now a VST3 plugin and will replace the VST2 version of TH2. You can also manually import TH2 presets into TH3.
 
The automatic upgrades only happen if "replace if possible on project load" is checked in the VST3 preferences AND if TH2 is not found on your system. i.e. By default it will only replace if it can't find a prior version and you explicitly choose to do so. Replacement seamlessly happens automatically during the project load process and the migrated settings should sound identical in TH3.  Even envelopes and parameters are automatically remapped to the new TH3 parameters in this scenario.
 
 
PS: The early access version doesn't migrate smart controls just yet. This is coming for the final version.

Am I the only one disappointed the new LP EQ and LP MB don't have resizable GUIs?  I thought for sure that icon in the corner was a resizer, but all it does is bring up the about box.

Ahhh...dying to try this new update.  I have a project a client asked for changes today so I don't dare update til I finish.
 
So there is a new LP64 MB compressor!!!!  Dang!
