I've looked through all the channels (dish) and
nothing but two -one for soccer and one for basketball
and nothing on either one.
Wish my wife was home...her and the kid know how
to work the TV.

Amazing ceremony. Feeling very proud to be British tonight. Danny Boyle is mosdef a lefty lovey and it showed in parts. Did anyone notice the dancers in the 'British popular music of the decades' section form themselves briefly into the CND symbol. Crafty bugger.

I think Ispotted a bit of the movie "If" which was a bit controversial.

Loved it apart from McCartney- he really needs to put it away and give someone esle a go. Not his fault I suppose- he must have been invited but there are more worthy performersd in the UK today to put the cherry on top.

An hour-and-a-half into it and it's stunning so far.  Tubular bells and all!

Just finished watching it.
Man, I love the way the cauldron came together.
Theme, concept, execution. That was art.
Unity, if only for a moment.
Never mind my British roots. That ceremony made me proud to be a citizen of earth.
My hat's off to Mr. Boyle, and all involved in making it happen.

Just finished watching. Well done. After the incredible China presentation 4-years back, I did not envy England's challenge, but it was done brilliantly. Go ahead and be proud. You earned it.

I loved it.  Such great energy and inspiration.  Beautiful torch running/lighting.  Fantastic, "Parade of Nations."  Well delivered declaration by the Queen.

Beautifully done mates.  Cheers
