That version of 'Come Together' by the Arctic Monkeys was simply terrible. That guy cannot sing period. It sounded like to me the vocals were in another key to the music or was I imagining that!

Thanks, I was afraid it was just me. It drove me nuts, he was flat the whole way through. He had in ear monitors, perhaps they were not working?

Paul sounded better than Moon would have.. he got off to a shaky start on Hey Jude but it seemed to get better... is he beginning to favor Keef a little?

The torch lighting was really good but Mr. Bean stole the show...

I like to put a pitch-changer on the monitor feed of pompous vocalists that annoy me.

(Just kidding!)

Thought Arctic Monkeys was quite a brave choice, most directors would have thought Coldplay or Sting or something...of course, I would have picked Iron Maiden playing 'The Loneliness of the Long distance Runner'...and they are East Londoners! the cauldron was truly great, also the forging of the Olympic rings. A bit eccentric, yes it was deffo British!
