Not really, my mate Grant was there too, but I know what happened to him.

That one takes me back, too.  The very first concert I ever went to was at the Filmore East in '73, I think.  Alice Cooper was the headliner.  Glass Harp opened and Bloodrock was the second act.

... to a moment in time, or maybe to a memorable part of your life?

This is one of mine, it just gets me every time I hear it: The Lotus Eaters - The First Picture Of You

Always loved that tune.

Too many to mention for me - so many memories associated with songs. The thing I always find amazing is how you can hear a tune you've not heard or even thought about for years and years and yet as soon as it comes on you know every word and every little part of it. Memory is an amazing thing.

The world changed for me the first time I heard White Riot on the John Peel Show one night

What I loved most about John Peel, and some of you old buggers will attest to this, is that he used to deliberately play all the songs in their entirety. No annoying 'DJ speak' over the intro, and he'd let 'em play right until the very end. He just knew that we were all out there with fingers poised on the record button of our radio-cassette players

I'm a fan of many genres except Country (which can still have it's moments) and cRap (which isn't music IMO and is only suitable for those with plant-life IQ's who are either in jail or should be).
