I already have this, or at least most of it, as I get the Windows "Insider" advance versions.  No problems with it that I'm aware of and my Sonar runs OK with the 1803 version.
 
 

Another one?!  My PC keeps telling me 1709 didn't install properly. When I click on 'more info' a MS page tells me they're aware of this being a false message and will be fixed. Perhaps it finally gets fixed here... 
Thanks for the tip that this update doesn't seem to do any collateral damage to Sonar Cakewalk by BandLab.

The Fall Creators Update took my pc out of commission without warning for days. The download seem to take forever. Will this one be as bad or large or whatever it was?

I can't say how big of a download this will be.  However, Microsoft has changed the large updates such as this, they now only download what modules you need instead of the complete program.  Thus the download should be smaller (how much smaller depends on the particular installation).  
 
 

I updated last night. Small update. Went pretty fast. No issues to report, at the moment.

The Spring upgrade has been delayed, according to a post on the tenforums.com, due to some newly discovered problems.  
 
KB4093112 was issued yesterday but its not the Spring Creators Upgrade.
 
 

Well it was horrible nonetheless. On my DAW pc, here is what all updates do:
 
First the download, without warning, I can do nothing on my pc, not even open up a browser or CP. so I stop everything.
 
Eventually, I attempt restart. This can take a long time, hours. Last night for the first time I did get a notification that windows will update in 15 minutes. It does so by restarting.
 
During the restart last night, I got a windows is updating message on an orange screen. This eventually went to black which is common. Just nothing. I leave it alone.
 
This morning, I clicked the power button and the orange screen appeared, 87% complete. After 15-30 minutes, it says it need to restart. This begins a horrible time. First of all, it can take hours again.
 
Then it restarts and quickly gives a blue screen which indicates a stopcode or drive power state failure. So restart again. Then it says windows cannot restart due to a problem and you are given the option of restarting or going to advanced troubleshooting.
 
I click restart. Again after a long time, it will restart.
 
This morning this process was pretty quick, about 2 hours.
 
The update also installed OneDrive without my permission even though it's been nagging me daily about it and I say no. It also shuts my audio off.
 
This happens only with an update and for every update. My pc is a couple of months old and I am still installing plugins. My first project with Sonar 8.5 is fine. I have done many projects with TRackS  5. So so far all else appears to be fine.
