You are clearly one of those guys who can go into a studio, track a few times at most, and be done with it. Well done. Nice sound coming from both you and that Godin.

LOVE Jim Croce. Time in a Bottle was one of the first songs I ever learned. I was just watching some videos of him the other day. Loved Maury Muehleisen's playing too. He was an early influence on me as much as Jim was.

Tom, you don't know how close I've come to doing just that on many occasions. These are the best monitors I've ever heard, so that would just kill me if I wrecked them.

Star, this was a very easy song. I originally sat down to record a medley of Infirmary / Bridge of Sighs / Baby Elephant Walk, but I messed up the lyrics on the first verse of Sighs and decided to just do Infirmary or I might have been all night.

Hi, Bill,

Dynamite job on this very tasty blues cover!

Excellent finger picking, the nylons on that Godin sound perfect for the style, and your vocals were absolute dynamite!

The video was great, too, and the intimacy of the guitar and vocal mix gave me the vibe of sitting in a 70's folk coffee house, right up front by the stage.

Really nice work, Bill, great stuff, buddy!

Have a good one,
Bob

Man that's a great and honest recording. I love the sound of that Godin.

Really nicely played and sung Bill.

Excellent voice which suited the song and I wouldn't have known that the Godin was plugged in rather than mic'd.
As Daryl said, picking and singing at the same time is not easy!

Beautiful rendition. Made my day to hear this classic done with such simplicity and style. You really nailed it.
Best to all you young dudes in the cradle. I think I got all you spring chickens beat as far as being thrown onto the banana boat some place in time.
