but could the anderton fx chains have better GUI,you don't have to go super cpu car-cra,but maybe something to jazz them up.And again this is NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK on anderton nor cakewalk nor users who love his fx chains. The amps just do not sound good to me,they sound harsh and unrealistic, maybe I am the problem. But other software amps sound much more realistic,I would love for these to be made into something much more in line with the top software amps

orrrr leave them the same and cakewalk make a really awesome, very well researched, super awesome amp sim with tons of cabs, heads, effects, positioning of mice on cabs(like logic pro x does)and tons of presets that sound really good?

Maybe I am asking to much, and please Craig Anderton do not be offended,I do not mean this in any mean-spirited way.

I can't tell if this is a request for revamping the FX Chain UI or asking Cakewalk to develop an entirely new amp sim from scratch or both. The title really needs to be a little more informative about the feature request rather than a statement of intent.

Also, I think Craig was explicitly NOT trying to emulate existing amps, but to create "new" amps.

And it is great to have a simple interface that is not LIGHT GREY ON WHITE.

Oh thought they were really creative and I have been using them. Especially the vocal one for pops.

A couple of them do lose the asthetics war, but it doesn't bother me at all. I think it gives them a certain character that reminds me they indeed were made by craig instead the result of some focus group that simply stuck his name on. Someone already pointed out his sims were meant to be unique,  so expecting them to sound like the usual suspects is unrealistic.

Fair enough,

The title is awful because it gives no hint what you are talking about, but it's not that big of a deal. Some people who may support your idea may never read it, dismissing it as a possible rant before giving it a look.  On the flipside it may attract the people looking for a rant, but I doubt that was your intent.

What a difference in opinion - I really love the sound of CA-X amp sims compared to TH2 Producer. Perhaps you are inputting too much gain LightShine?
Craig comes from a technical background in audio, and I'm sure he put many hours to tailor these sounds to perfection. I would imagine he is just using some template for the UI, and the UI is probably not his department. I mean, once you're done tweaking the knobs, you're not gonna see it much anymore, right?
I am quite pleased with CW's recent updates. I don't really much care about the UI as much as the results. After all, it's all about the audio.
You guys at CW are doing a fantastic job. Thank you CW, and thank you Craig!
