The PDF manual can be downloaded from that page. Melda does a great job with their manuals.

I paid list price for the Free Bundle license, and I thought it was really good bang for the buck at the time. They've since added a couple of new plugins. This latest one is almost worth the price of admission on its own. Best €49 I ever spent.

As a refresher, here's what you get for licensing MFreeFXBundle:

Advantages of the upgrading

The software is totally free of charge, so please download and enjoy! You should consider upgrading to a professional version though, as this is what you would get:
  • You can change size and style of the plugins.
  • You can access the sonogram feature in the analyzers and equalizers.
  • You can manipulate (save, load, organise) your own presets.
  • Most plugins can perform upsampling which minimizes aliasing, therefore it is useful to improve sound quality.
  • The plugins will not display the big red reminder box with our clickable logo at the bottom of every GUI.
  • You will make us happy and help us develop more free software ;-).

Yes, I bought the upgrade for the free bundle as well.  MUtility has become possibly my most-often-used plug-in.  If you wait for a sale (happens several times a year), MFreeFXBundle can be had for half-off, which for me made it a no-brainer.

I'm guessing there will be a paid version of it later, probably adding modulation.

I just downloaded it and took a quick look at the manual as well.  This thing already has modulation: four modulators and a ton of multi-parameters as well.  This is one hell of a nice freebie!

Edit: I should add that unless you buy the commercial-version upgrade you are not able to save presets, which makes the availability of modulators and multi-parameters much less convenient.  But it's still a very nice freebie even without preset save.

I got the upgrade for the free bundle a few years ago and I agree its worth it. The saving feature by itself is worth it.

Right you are, David. I didn't see them because I had the metering pane closed, and the modulators are on the metering pane. However, if you want to configure the modulators you'll need the paid version of the free pack.
