I assume it would be possible to put the whole Bandlab Roaming folder on your second drive and create a symbolic link to it?

I just did the following:

1. copy and pasted the \Roaming\bandlab-assistant folder to my secondary hard drive at root level
2. deleted the original folder (had to kill the Bandlab Assistant process first, otherwise windows could not delete the folder)
3. started cmd with Administrative priveleges
4. typed: mklink /J C:\%username\AppData\Roaming\bandlab-assistant J:\bandlab-assistant
(I now see bandlab-assistant in the Roaming folder, but with the little shortcut symbol in the lower left corner of hte folder name, indicating that it's actually a link to another location
5. restarted Bandlab Assistant.  Windows had no problem restarting it from the link pointing to the real location on my J: drive

I assume all this is going to work fine when it's time for a new download.  If it doesn't, I'll copy it all back.

As a note to my post above, the Bandlab Assistant program itself is in another folder that I didn't move, but I know this worked because I initially set the links backwards and Bandlab Assistant couldn't start even though the program itself was in the original location.

Mine download to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\bandlab-assistant\Downloads
Hope this helps...

Is it possible to do the download once and copy the install file to another computer and have the Bandlab Assistant install on the other computer.  I really miss this capability!!!  It takes a while downloading and if I'm not there when the download completes I have to do the download again??  Not sure why, maybe because the Assistant is not running as admin?

Yes and No, BA always wants to download before installing but you can copy the installer to another machine and run it manually. BA deletes the installer after it is installed so make sure to create a copy of the installer when it stops for user input. BA must be installed and running on the other machine to activate CbB.
