Where is the default file location for Pro Channel Presets (*.PCP files)?

scook
C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR Platinum\ProChannel Presets

The path is stored in the registry key ProChannelStripPresetFolder under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR\Platinum\UserPaths

yes, if your like me, I save every single PC preset ive ever made.
I have a small book of them :-) (about 300) there used to be an online preset sharing page on cakes website but I think it was removed because it could lead to problems with users who have modules / while others don't.

I even keep a default PC setting to quickly get me back to zero (named "AAADeafult)
named with the AAA's so it is first on the list at all times.
incase you paint yourself in to a corner and need to reset everything.

I always prefix my presets with an underscore _ to get them at the top of the list

haha. i probably should have been clearer in my first post...
I always start mine with AAA for a reason so they are not all jumbled together.
i will also categorize like AAB / AAC / AAD exc, exc
this keeps instrument pro channels together as well (for drums= AAB.kick, AAC.snare, AAD.hihats)
ABA=stringed instruments (ABA.Bass, ABB.RythGuitar, ABC.leadGuitar)
see where im going with this ?

patm, find a way to label them so they are all grouped together in one spot and don't mix in with the others as BJ said..an underscore..a triple A / AAA.

I guess I should have been clearer...These are not my presets, but the ones that come packaged with SONAR.  I do like the idea of using the AAA or _ as a prefix to load the ones you saved first.  I will probably make good use of that tip.  Thanks!
