  • [SOLVED] Upgraded to latest version and cannot find New EQ

Hi Group,

Been using Splat for some time.  After the upgrade I cannot for the life of me find the new EQ.   The new Multiband is in my dynamics folder and I didn't have any issue with that one. I have rescanned the plugins several times with no luck. I've also checked to see if it was disabled or hidden in any way and I do not see the plugin in the plugin manager.
Any thoughts on how I can get this new plug to show?

Regards
Craig

Hi. Did you use CCC to install? Are you able to locate it in (defaults to) C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3? If not, maybe the install did not get installed correctly, and that you need to download and reinstall?
Best of luck.

I couldnt see them either  in the  fx bin unless you change to default all. Expand and click  VST3 folder, EQ and select L EQ. The same for the compressor Vst3. Dynamics, LP MB.
Use the Browser (B button) and type  in VST3.  But I am getting strange happening when I do that.  Workaround click the red x and then add vst3 and you will see them under EQ and Dynamics

Hope this helps.

I always use the command center to update. I see the file in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 folder but I cannot see the plug in in the  In the VST folder in the browser to select it.

This is frustrating.....
Really would rather not reinstall.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you
Craig

Did you update the Engineering FX Suite?

I have all features updated. The strange thing here is that the dll is sitting in the correct folder
LPEQ_64.vst3      6046kb.

One thing I did notice is that the timestamp on the file is 45 minutes older than the LPMB_64.vst3 file.    I did have what seemed like a major hiccup while updating.

Do you think it's corrupt? Is the size of my LPEQ_64.vst3 file the same as yours?

regards
Craig

I had trouble finding it, but it was because I was using a custom plug in layout.  If you select "all plugins" or manage, you may find it in there.

For the record my LPEQ_64.vst3 is 6046kb
If you think the update bombed, perhaps reinstalling the Engineering FX Suite might be the quick fix.

Hi folks..... it decided to show up out of the blue this last time I started Sonar to start mixing on a project....

Don't know why but don't need to go any further into it.

Thanks for the suggestions
Have a good evening

Glad you found it. Could you mark this case as solved?
All the best.
