I watched an old Peter Sellars movie last nite. I was crying and couldn't breath thru half the movie. My stomach hurts today. I also love South Park and Malcom in the Middle. What's Wrong With Me ?

P.S. I forgot about World Police! I love that movie?
You are wrong with you, is what is wrong with you!

I have too much PS stuff ... and the best of his stuff ... is with The Goons (over 120 shows) ... in the many characters he plays in there ... but folks here do not like to know that the Goons were a major influence on the Beatles and their brand of surrealism ... because it prevents the Beatles from being God!  Let's see ... about 10 Peter soundtracks ... about 4 Peter albums ...

The voices, and the speed with which Peter changes his voices, in The Goons, is down right insane and hilarious ... and some of the funniest bits are when they drop a line and jive with each other and they are unbelievably well tuned and worked well together despite the many rows with Spike Milligan.

It's one of the reasons why sometimes Bapu and the CH just are not funny for me ... I find the Yin Tong Edle I Po song or Walking Backwards for Christmas, much funnier than the CHB stuff ... and of course, Mr. Ed doesn't like competition and I get the jilted lover shoulder treatment on my comments! But I miss such wonderful bits like climbing Mt. Everrest from the inside, the missing boa constrictor, the aero-african canal, the china story, tales of men's shirts from down under ... and such ...

Of all the acting jobs, the best one is "Being There" ... and make sure you catch the ending nder the credits ... it will show you what the Goons put up with that most people ... shudder and get chills from! Pure acting at its best!

women just LOVE sensitive men ..

WHERE ARE THEY? Show me ASAP!
Except Sophia! She was a witch to him and then some!

But the best one is hearing/seeing Britt Eklund in the film "After The Fox" ... both her and Peter are superlative!  And Peter sang the title song with The Hollies! I also heard once that he did the drumming in that song also ... but we will have to ask other folks about that rumor. Peter was full of rumors as it was!

" ... and in this scene we do something ... (silence) ... what do we do, now? ... (silence) ... we do something, and we will do nothing ... that's it ... we will do nothing ... (silence) ... (we hear the sea and the gulls) ... you get the symbolic meaning of doing nothing ... tony ... we do nothing in this scene! ... "

Try that one here!

Vittorio de Sica, did say, that the whole film was done by Peter, almost totally ad-lib, including the funniest scene that surprised Vittorio ... when they stole all the film equipment!

I preferred Michael Bentine's Potty Time, but he was more of an influence on Led Zep.
