I had to buy a new pickup winder when someone slammed the door to the pickup truck really hard one day and busted the dang winder glass right outta the frame so yeah.... perhaps he did buy a new pickup winder. 

Try asking Wolfe MacLeod about it. He is a good guy and may know where to get a deal or, heck he may have an old one. He has a webcam in his shop how too, he is the one on the left.

I've already ordered parts and would rather build my own.
Not doing this to market...just want to learn to build pups from the
ground up. Cheaper that way too.
 
Craig it may be a good one but I've heard many weren't happy
with it. I just can't see $400.00 worth.
