I clicked thr "download it today" above, so it should be the extended. Any chance to see what I really downloaded?

Ok, yeah that's the reason. We are working on rolling this out to other customers but few things we need to iron out.

couple of questions:
  • i don't have x3, do i have to use the command center to get the trial/demo?
  • what shared components will be effected by installing the trial? will they be rolled back if the rial is uninstalled?

I love my Producer X3.....but I think it might be time to upgrade.  Really hoping that I don't get surprised with the upgraded.  It's all working well.

Hi, I am a bit confused about the renewal offer.

I successfully installed the SPlat 60 day trial and am using it now.
However, the latest emails I am getting tell me that the rolling updates offer is ending soon.

Does that mean if I pay $99 now I own SPlat now and all updates for a year?
I not sure at what point I paid for the upgrade to SPlat.
If I wait till the end of the 60 days I assume it will be $149 for me to upgrade?

Thanks in advance.

I went from X2 to SPlat, I was extremely impressed. And so far, (machine packed in shipping container right now), it was running like a train under bootcamp on my Mac Pro too.

OK OK, after being enticed by all the emails on Platinum, I've finally just downloaded the free 60-day trial. I've been off the forums here for such a long time because I have been completely, totally satisfied with my X3 Producer. I absolutely love it. However, after watching some of the videos on Platinum's amazing features, I hadda have it LOL! So, here I go...

Even if you ignore the "amazing features", there are lots of little unsung improvements that you may never notice but that are just there and which make life easier.

...I do wish there had been more, but - hey - :)

Also, everybody talks about the CCC Command Center. Well, I was really skeptical because I have poor internet here so I have never used the CCC.

But what HAS happened is Sonar has been broken up into individual downloads which means whenever there's an update, all I need to download (directly - NOT with the CCC) is the Sonar exe and the Help file. Two files of 500Meg and 600Meg (Sonar exe grew from 390 in Hopkinton to 500 in Newwotzitport...), something I can do in 2 hours, including downloads that break down and need restarting.

Also, I didn't want a subscription. I got really loud when I heard that subs were to be introduced.

No problem, the 1-year version is just like in the old days. Almost, but easier to understand. You buy the current version and you get updates for a full 12 months. No further obligation.

@AndrewRossa (or anyone who can answer this)....

I'm running Sonar X3 Producer and am interest in upgrading to SPLat (ha).....but, my setup is an offline one.  Love it that way - no virus protection needed, fast and streamlined machine, blah blah.....

Anyway, not sure how the whole Command Center setup is going to work for me.  I can certainly pull down the files, and xfer via stick to my machine, but if the new Platinum paradigm is sure that it requires internet connectivity (software continued authorization, etc.), then am I in a jam?

So, anyone in this same situation?  Need Halp here.....
