The updated early access build was posted literally a few minutes ago. If you downloaded earlier you should get it again. The build that has the fix is Early Access 22.4.0.26

Hallelujah!

Early tests are good.
4 x Reason Instruments - Routed to Separate Audio out
4 x Sonar Audio channels - Grabbing each input from Reason
4 x Midi channels

Barely a whisper on the Sonar CPU meter!

Before this update, this simple project would have choked.

What is your audio interface?
I think the audio interface is Tascam made or Roland made to good.
IF your audio record track is 3/4 for stereo,You must choice the input select of track on console view.
And output is send for master.
For exemple, The input select is stereo US-366,and US-366's record mode is multi track.
For exemple2, The input select is stereo quad capture 1-2.

If you must create the midi track,You must add the midi track with Plug in track.
And your 3/4's midi track's output is choose the plugin of track on consol view.

.....?

Do you have an idea of what we are talking about on that topic?

I get what he's saying. English is not his native language, and Google Translate is not always perfect...he's trying to help, and explain how some interfaces have to be set up in unique ways.

For a moment of humor, here is what happens if you let Google translate the above into Japanese and back into English again :

I will get what he is saying. English is not his native language, and Google Translate, and he is trying to help, some of the interface is intended to explain how it is necessary to set in a unique way .. . not always perfect.

Ah.. I'm so over this..

I thought the issue was solved.. But no go.

From what I can see Core 1 of my CPU (according to Sonar peaks and eventually dies.. or just stutters until I stop). If I look at my task manager though, my CPU utilization is only at 8%... Sonar show what looks like upwards of 80% for Core 1.. (also tried single core in preferences)

Now also, both a Single rewire audio channel projects (or multiple as before) have this problem..

My task manager shows limited disk activity, RAM usage and CPU utilization as mentioned before.. Ive tried hosting Projects on both the OS SSD and my 2nd HDD... Both result in poor CPU/Audio stutter... Ive also tried both the standard Propellerheads Balance driver and ASIO4ALL.

Chances of a refund? :P :( Should have just gone month by month.
Still so shattered as I was a hardcore Sonar user back in the day.... Maybe its my PC setup? Audio preferences?

Try to disable the energy saving from your PC,go to "power options" and select "High performance" despite "balanced".
Also if you have wireless/blue tooth adapters try to disable and check if high cpu peaks are gone.
At least try WDM/KS or WASAPI despite ASIO (if your audio board can handle it).

Really appreciate all your help in this thread.. I truly mean it.

So I looked at what you said.
1. Changed my power options to High Performance.
2. While I don't have WDM options for Sonar (I did have them in Reason (standalone)... It got me thinking.

I went to the Audio options in Windows... Right-Click speaker icon in menu bar.. I chose recording devices.. I had chosen a Logitech Webcam mic... Now Ive been recording and playing back Audio freom my Balance interface ever since I got Sonar.. and Reason on Windows for that matter.. But it does look to have solved the issue.

Fingers crossed.

I'm not calling it yet.. But I'm pretty sure it was the 'recording Devices' setting in Windows..

Either way.. I'll keep on building up these tracks and see how I go.

So far, Core 1 on the Sonar CPU meter (while still higher than the rest) is relatively stable.

Man,of course your default windows interface was not the Propellerhead Balance!Anyway make sure you have chose the right driver in Sonar too and take in mind that the Core 1 of a CPU it's ever more higher than other cores.
