Now they accepted my serial number and I've installed the Addictive drums and the three packs that I get.  Don't ask me.  I copied the serial number last night too.   I routed the 64 bit path to my desktop and then it installed.

lol... as I was typing.

Glad you got it sorted. AD2 really does have some cool sounds. I got the Fairfax 1 kit, the Indie Kit and the Metal Kit. All quite useable for what they are.

Have fun.

I once had a horse and now I have a car. Where do I put the hay? Man I am confused.

Use Grass instead of Hay--And put in Gas Tank...

It's just the installation and initial learning curve that's gonna be annoying.

Love it beepster.    Alas, it's completely wrong.

Smoke the grass and eat the horse, will produce gas which you can use for your car.

Go to original post and you can edit the title there.

Maybe change to something like:

Sonar Professional .. new user issues

might attract more hints and tips for other new users in the future + you could add more of your own workarounds and discoveries .. help others in the future :D

For someone who wanted to be ignored you're sure going about it in a funny way.

Well - I still haven't gotten a sound out of it. Started playing with session drummer. Programmed a beat at the bottom. Couldn't get playback. Closed the program and came back. Where before it had the drums labeled ( hh, kick, etc. ). Now they are labeled in notes?? C#, D, D#, etc. I honestly thought I'd be at the point of "should a quadruple track heavy guitars or just double track and copy those two parts?" Should I put compression on the bass and play with abandon or does it sound better to play the part at an even level without it? I was able to make pretty professional sounding stuff with PA9. I just don't see myself ever getting to that point right now with this. I really really miss recording.

You really need to do a groove3 course.

Please don't read tone into anything, I call it like it is.......

I just went to that sight - I have to buy the course?

To program and get one measure of one beat?

At this time I was laying harmony guitars on PA9.  By the next week, I was putting envelope filters on tracks and mixing with record automation in the Console View.

I'm getting sick of listening to 10 year old Plus recordings.
