yeah noticed but found it here: http://blog.cakewalk.com/create-easy-tempo-maps-in-sonar-with-melodyne/

That is completely amazing, that thing. Astonishing stuff from Celemony, and good job to Cakewalk for integrating it so nicely.

yes it is pretty amazing. was just feeding it mix of a song which has flexible tempo and it picked up every single tempo change close enough that you could use the click track for overdubs right away :-)

noticed that it helps a lot if you chop off the silence at the start so that the clip starts with the first transient aligned to 1:0:0

going to feed it some of my ratty piano playing to see if it can digest that !

Your Microsoft Visual C++ Library 2015 is missing/installed incorrectly.

Make sure you finish and restart after any Windows Updates, then run the installer again.

This one seems solid as a rock! The new synth is actually very good. Simple interface and easy to dial in great sounds.

Thanks bakers!

Seth please clarify your reply to the Laszlo's post.  I had the exact same error message.  Closed all programs except CCC.  Ran update.  Update crashed with various 'MIDI plugin missing' messages. Exited. Splat failed to run.  Ran CCC again and 'ignored' over the warning messages.  CCC said Splat was good to go.  Everything else on my PC seems to run.  Splat returns this same error message.  Do you mean I have to rebuild Sonar from scratch and reload all the extras via the My Account page.  CCC did this to my system.  Nothing like this has happened in the previous CCC-managed upgrades. Please advise.  I have submitted a support request.

I agree, it's totally brilliant. It's a sort of 'from the future' feature! The way it is implemented is great too.

No, you do not need to rebuild/uninstall anything on your system. Your Windows configuration is preventing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime library from properly installing. This runtime library is included with the latest SONAR installer.

You will need to complete any pending Windows Updates via your Windows Control Panel. Once they are finalized and the system is reset, if you reinstall (over the existing install) the latest SONAR update, it will reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 library.

Alternatively, you can download and install the C++ Libraries from Microsoft directly. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Missing MIDI Plugin messages indicate that they were not able to be registered via the Windows RegSvr32 process. This is another indicator that there are pending Windows Updates on your system. In this case I would reinstall the latest SONAR update over any existing SONAR installation after you have completed the Windows Updates.

Just want to say Thanks Seth- did as you suggested- and it worked ! I thought I was up to date on C++ runtime, but also updated (86) version.

Nice to get a quick response too.

Thanks Seth! Yep.  Downloaded the C++ update from MS, ran it and Sonar is running now.  Couldn't do it through CCC though, only the 'launch' option offered.   I don't think an application upgrade should overtake the current system without a warning. BUT. Having said that, I don't know of any other software team that would respond so positively and so quickly.  Another positive reason to appreciate the Cakewalk team.  Problem solved. Thank you so much.
