My metronome quit working after the recent update. Anyone else having issues with it? It was working until I created a tempo map using the new drag to timeline feature. Doesn't work on record or playback.

Yep - happened here too, though not while tempo mapping. Try enabling/disabling fx bypass button in mix module. Fixed it for me.

Thanks for the props, Andrew, but also thanks to Matthew Mann for his review of the Neat mics, and the ever-helpful Joey Adams for BlogBeat.

That did it. I don't know you figured it out because effects were the last thing I was thinking about. If we get another confirmation does that qualify as a bug?

Thanks for the help.

No problem John. Glad it worked for you.

We are pleased to announce that the SONAR 2016.03 is now available for download via Command Center. This update includes features targeted for both new and existing customers. Whether you’re new to SONAR or a power user, the new in-app Help Module will get you working faster and more efficiently than ever before. In addition we’ve added a new synth from A|A|S, the much-requested Melodyne Tempo Detection, and more fixes and enhancements.

Read the official ezine (written by Craig Anderton)

Why is the "How to Download the ………. Update" section not included anymore in the ezine which used to follow the update features summary page ? It provided clarity, was helpful and saved everyone asking for which updates to download for which features.

Could we please have that page included ? Otherwise very informative, useful and engaging ezine

Thanks Seth! Yep.  Downloaded the C++ update from MS, ran it and Sonar is running now.  Couldn't do it through CCC though, only the 'launch' option offered.   I don't think an application upgrade should overtake the current system without a warning. BUT. Having said that, I don't know of any other software team that would respond so positively and so quickly.  Another positive reason to appreciate the Cakewalk team.  Problem solved. Thank you so much.

Right-clicking on the Sonar Platinum in the list on the left, exposes rollback options.  IF it lists the Build 71 as a choice, that should essentially do a reinstall, otherwise pick Build 70 for it to rollback to, then you should see the Build 71 show up as an install option to rerun that again after your Windows maintenance.

The embarrassing reason is...I forgot in one issue, and that got carried over to subsequent ones. Great point...thanks for the reminder!
