Hi,
Is there a way to automate a release time? (can't find the right parameter in automation list)

Is there a way to automate a release time?

Send Dimension a CC #72 message.  No need to do anything else special.  It's one of the "hardwired" controller messages that DP is always "listening for".  This will be control over global amplitude release time (all of the Elements - at the hidden master envelope level).

The audible results depend heavily on whatever preset you have loaded.  Different results from different Element-level amp envelope combinations.  I just found some perfect examples: Find 09 - Organs (original installation presets) and load any of the Hammond variations from the Browser.  Dial up some CC #72 values from 0-127 (CC #73 for Global Amplitude Attack Time).

A couple of things to be aware of:

- Any changes of attack/release time over MIDI affect the next note played - not any notes currently playing.
- The current global attack / release setting will persist across the instance of Dimension Pro.  If you load another preset, the last received attack/release value will still be active.
- Other "hardwired" controls are CC#7 (volume), CC#11 (expression), CC#64 (sustain), and CC#66 (sostenudo).  The same cautions apply when automating or externally controlling with these messages.
