What is the best way to do a clean install of Rapture into a new Windows 8 PC that is running X2?  Do I start with my 1.0 disk and apply each patch in turn, or do I only need to apply the latest 1.2.2 patch on top of the 1.0 install?  I've always had terrible trouble getting Rapture to work and I'd like to get off on the right foot on my nice new clean PC.

If you are running X2 Producer you can skip installing version 1.0 from the original Rapture disk use the version included with X2. You will need to use the new serial number and auth code supplied with X2 Producer. If you are running X2 Studio or Essentials you will need to install from your original Rapture 1.0 disk and apply the 1.2 and 1.2.2 patches.
