I am using both. My DAW world has changed radically in the past12 months. After years of using Audacity, I jumped to SONAR X1 and that was my only DAW environment through SPLAT. Easy to use and did everything I wanted. Along the way, my studio computer became pretty disorganized as I purchased various VST effects and VST instruments. I have wanted to start fresh, but there is so much installed on that machine now I just can't bear the thought of a clean sweep.
Last year, I had a collaboration that required StudioOne Pro. And then when Gibson dumped Cakewalk, I purchased Cubase 9.5. I was thinking about that anyway because my plan was to move notation to Dorico, which I am now doing at Dorico 2.0.
I didn't use SONAR at all during that period between Gibson and Bandlab because I figured my time was better spent leaning Cubase.

Once Bandlab announced they were going to carry CbB, I felt empowered to resume using SPLAT. It really is convenient for many small jobs, so I use SPLAT 3 or times a month now. But I don't need any more features and am not really bothered by any particular bugs. So I am not planning to touch my SPLAT setup at least for a year or two.

I did recently install CbB on a laptop computer I use for field recording. Previously I have used TracksLive on that machine simply for tracking. But there is a project coming us where they want to set up more of a live studio process (multiple takes and immediate playback of a rough mix) in the field. It took me 3 or 4 hours to get everything working right, but that seems to work OK.
