I haven't done ANY updates since last November.

Bandlab seems to me like a totally separate product with a totally separate use than Sonar. I want updates to the Sonar operational programming and VST's, not updates to a web-sharing platform.

Am I off base here?

Your version of Sonar will NEVER be updated.

The only way forward to take advantage of new features, updates & bug fixes is via the CdB route.

I had the same issue (Java script error) with 3.2.0 update. Wrote to CbB support and they say that they know this issue and their engineers are wotking to solve it.

I got the error.  Had to uninstall BandLab Assistant and install an older version.

Bandlab assistant has been just sitting, twiddling, some sort of petite mal type of seizure activity when I have opened it over the last few days. Perhaps the 'Vegas' mode on my LaunchControl induces that behavior.   Wouldn't close except by rebooting the computer.  Downloaded the latest 3.2 version and it started acting normally again.  Here is the link if anyone else needs it:

I tried updating today, and I got the same error re: Java script. Is this because I don't have Java on my computer?

No, javascript has nothing to do with java.

Thanks scook, that put me on the right track. A little research brought me to an article re: enabling javascript in Internet Explorer. I found that it was already enabled. However, I reset my internet security zone setting to default. I was then able to complete the download and it installed with no trouble. The colors are great, and it's so nice to see the note values in staff view again!

Can't say for sure that resetting the  internet security zone setting to default did the trick, but it may be worth keeping in mind.

Same problem here. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the latest Bandlab Assistant. However I get the same result. Latest Cakewalk downloads but doesn't install, and on opening Assistant I get the Java error. Any suggestions?
