Okay, I'm pretty sure this isn't  possible, but I just want to make sure.

Is there a way to play my music hosted on RN, directly from my post, instead of people having to actually leave the forum and go to RN?

I notice this is possible with soundcloud and a few other music host sites.

I think people sometimes skip it if they have to leave the forum or open another tab to listen to a song.

I know RN has widgets, but I believe those are just for Web Pages.  You can't embed one into your signature for example?

And yes, I have searched for info about this online.  RN FAQs are pretty vague,  and not very helpful.

No, you can't embed the RN player into your post. I don't think anyone minds an automatic tab opening if they click on a direct link to the song, that's the way it happens with most sites.

Being able to link to audio files would seem a useful feature for a music-related forum, but hey, we're stilling working on being able to embed blank lines!

I belong to a forum in Sweden where they allow you to not only embed the song in the post (they even host it!) but they also separate out finished/competed songs and in-process/mix comment songs into two separate forums.  

It's kinda nice....
