Hi Dan
I did use a current internet connection to authorize.  I plugged my DAW into the internet and used CCC. Are you telling me that if I authorized through CCC (which I did when I installed), I have to permanently remain on line? Even If I paid for the whole year?

Not sure if this is relevant or not whilst working on a project the CC Icon appeared in the lower part of my screen I saved and closed Platinum and there was the CC open. Most strange I am also on monthly. This happened within the last hour.

I didn't see him telling you this.
Did Dan's instructions (#19) resolve the issue for you?

No Not until I get clarification that anyone who is NOT permanently on line has to install that way

Hi stonehedge,

Yes, if your Sonar system is not connected to the internet you will need to use the offline authorization option.

Thanks Dan
I was connected to the internet when I installed and launched.
I will give that a try however. Just confused that every time I launch the CCC it fixes the problem till I power down. Did I miss the post about this somewhere?
Regards
Ed

Hi Ed,

I just PM'ed you. Please contact me and we'll try and do some diagnostics. Once you have successfully authorized SONAR either by connecting to the internet from your main system OR by following the offline auth process, there is no further need to be online. Its a one time process if you have purchased an annual membership.
If that is not the case then something is not working properly or your membership information is incorrect.
Please contact me and we can figure it out.

Ed,

As Noel said we'll look into this.  Way it's supposed to work is that an annual purchase should never revert to demo.
Apologies on the frustration this is causing.  Rest assured we'll address this very soon.
