I see others might be having similar issues so I want to update that I opened a case with support today.

Same numbers that I am getting and reported to support. Saw your thread wish I could offer ideas on how to save.

Workarounds to export audio files from demo mode:
- Recorded tracks are on the disk in any case.
- Tracks can be frozen. Bounced clips can be copied from the Audio folder.
- SONAR allows user open audio clip with external audio editor (from Tools menu).
- Set audio interface output to loopback mode and record audio with another program.
- Audio recorder VST plugin in master bus.

BTW, did any of guys have the auto-save enabled? And did that work up to when Sonar switched to demo mode? Auto-save saved me a few times last year (adding up to several hours of recovered work) ...
 
Anyway, I'm following this thread ... and not switching to Platinum for the project I got to deliver 2 days from now (although I was tempted from the positive feedback) ...

I have autosave enabled.
Autosave was enabled and working SONAR did not autosave when going to demo mode.

Since being assisted by Cakewalk, Sonar Platinum has been working for me as expected. There may be a couple of different reasons that might cause this to happen so I would suggest contacting support if you experience this issue. I'll wait until the next released update to confirm that it's ok for my particular situation.

I want to publicly say Thank You to Noel, Keith, and Dan for sorting my problem out as well.
Cakewalk has a very impressive team that acted swiftly and professionally to keep me running with my favorite software.
Things just keep getting better.

Edited for clarity and to change title to resolved. I have not had this problem since being assisted by Cakewalk and is ok with Braintree update. Thanks.
