Like I said, I'd really love to see some new expansion packs for Dimension Pro. Most virtual instruments make sounds that aren't heard in the real world. That's fine for a lot of music, even things I like to listen to. But, for my own music, I mostly use sounds of real instruments, and Dimension Pro is the best I've got for that. Am I gonna have to take the time to learn how to program Dim Pro myself? Maybe...

There are third party expansions - have you tried those?

Yeah, if you mean the DSF and Proteus packs available through Cakewalk. I have some of those - the ones that seemed useful to me. I'm not aware of any others.

DFS is what I was thinking of.

You might also look around for SFZ files (w/ samples, of course included).  Alchemy and other synths use SFZ.  I haven't tried any Alchemy SFZ in DimPro, but it is mainly a synth's synth.  But some others might have libraries you could use.  SFZ should take care of most of the programming, except DimPro specific patching.
