I think (and correct me if I am wrong) the OP is actually suggesting that the track templates included with Sonar be colored in advance. I think this is a great idea. Obviously most will come up with their own color schemes, but for noobs, seeing a well coordinated color scheme as an example may be helpful. The downside is that people with visual issues like colorblindness may become even more inconvenienced if the pre-selected colors make the template even harder to see by default. I would amend this request to offer a choice or at least be disabled for the advanced or user that simply prefer defeault settings.
