The FX 1-3 packages were offered for free a while back but ran out of serial numbers.

I don't remember when it came out, but using Scott's link above, you can find it free from cakewalk...

hmm...Scott's link just took me to a blog post, the link from the blog post just went to the current Cakewalk store.

The blog is from 2009. The products have been unavailable for some time. While the FX series was made available for free for a period of time, it had to be ordered through the CW store to get a serial number. My guess is the links in the blog point to the products in old store which get redirected to the new store and the products are not in the new store.

Very sad... I hope mine is still working. I'll see in the morning...

I'm surprised. If giving them away for free I'd have thought they'd use an unlocked copy? There has to be one flirting around, eh?

I wonder why?

Are they really Cakewalk products or were they rebranded and the 3rd party decided not to support/didn't want the income stream/whatever?

I haven't found a plug reverb I like and still use my external verbs. This one looked like it could really have been interesting.

Good question...

I always had the feeling this one in particular was re-branded... Here's hoping that's wrong and they've been working on it behind the scenes all this time!

I have known about this for some time now but never got around to investigate it.  http://www.parallax-audio.com

Its the closest I've seen to CW's SoundStage FX3.

It looks very cool! According to the about page, it was originally produced in 2011 by one guy while he was studying composition.

I am trying the demo of Eventide's Tverb and I'm liking it a lot.

The parallax plugin does look cool...

I'm wondering how it's implemented...?

John... Looking forward to hearing your review of Tverb...

Sadly, soundstage is not on my current DAW though fx1 & fx2 are installed (?)

I'm gonna checkout an older machine if it will turn on... Hmmm... Thinking now I belueve I remember where the disks are... Maybe the serial number is there too? None of these are lusted in my account...
