Hi everyone ,

This is the second time this happened recently and I can seem to get it back from a take lane ?

One of my midi tracks has gone grey ): , so I expanded the midi take lane and there it is , don't know why it moved to take 7 ( not doing any recording ) but it did , so I deleted all the other empty take lanes then closed the last take lane with my midi data and it still stays grey , So I copied and pasted it to a new midi tack and it stays grey still , I have bounced it and that did not work , can anyone please tell me why this happens and more importantly how to get it back to Color ?

Thank you

It looks like - when clips gain is enabled in tack lane or audio snap is enabled on a audio track , however it's neither of these and it's a midi track stuck in take lane 7 , anyone ?

Need to get midi out of take lane 7 !

Thank you

Hi everyone , UPDATE

So I spent a bit of time in the platinum manual and have realized that there has been some nice updates to the comping features, can't wait to do some vocals .

Back to my issue , the fix was ,I had to click the Automation Read button on the track lane > from ON > to OFF> back to ON .

----I did a Test the midi track below the offending midi track .----
I went to the next midi track below the midi track that was playing up , and expanded the take lanes > there was 3 take lanes > so I right clicked the top/ main midi track > selected flatten comp> which then created a new take lane called comp > then I unlocked this new flattened take lane in the clips pane > deleted all other takes > closed the last take lane ( flattened comp) > and to the point the problem did not happen ( no grey vacation ).

Anyway hope this helps someone else ,

Thanks
