I'll say this again, do these songs below suffer?   They sound pretty damn good to me and I will say this, I tried and paid quite a lot to have some of these mastered by a "pro" and they sucked!

Maybe the "mastering engineer" was secretly using a LANDR "premaster" as reference?

But LANDR does NOT have a "good set of ears" that you claim are needed for making the "necessary tweaks needed to restore spectral balance" (whatever that means...lol...)

I never claimed LANDR had a good set of ears. I claimed it did analysis, and hopefully you have run the experiments I detailed so you know that claim is true.

FYI spectral balance is a common term. Here's a definition from the Science and Engineering Encyclopedia.

My comments were not directed at you Craig.   And I did do tests and I KNOW LANDR is more than just Anyone can instantly obtain LANDR-quality results by slapping a Dynamic EQ and Limiter combo on the master channel of any DAW (including Reaper, the one being used by LANDR scientists last time they had a public demo) and tweaking to taste for about 15 seconds."   That in ignorant way of looking at new advanced technology.   Digital audio at its core is "artificial"   WHat does 15  seconds have to do with anything?  15 second in a computer is literally an eternity and can perform more operations in 15 seconds and make more decisons than a human can in a lifetime so that is just a dumbass statement by whoever made it.  People are writing from their heads and not their ears

No worries, I knew that. I was replying to Irvin's comment. I'll go back and put the quote in so there's no confusion.

and he is now gone. hopefully we can all get a long and have professional convo's.
musicians are passionate people but there has to be that fine line of respecting someone's opinion or not respecting it but ignoring it instead.
