hi everyone, it seems I've lost the presets in BREVERB. the plug in opens and functions however there are no presets in the left box. what did I do wrong now?

If you can't find them you could always reinstall it from the disk.

how would I do that? I have the disks, which one should I use?

Insert your sonar disk or download the install and do a install only of that plugin with its presets.
 
But this might be a blessing in disguise. This may give you a chance to actually go over each reverb setting and see how it works and how it effects each sound your using it on. Then you can start from scratch and make your own reverb settings that where made for your sounds.

I've done what suggested however I still have no presets. this is what I've done. 1. installed BREVERB from the X-2 disk, deselected everything except BREVERB also I installed the 64 bit X-2 if that matters.
2, opened the plugin manager, found BREVERB, highlighted it then ran scan VST plugins, restarted the program but still nothing. what do you think??

It may be that the preset file got corrupted somehow and since the file may be newer than the one on the installer, the installer may not overwrite the file. The BREVERB 2 Cakewalk presets are stored in C:\ProgramData\Overloud\BREVERB 2 Cakewalk. You may want to rename the directory and attempt to reinstall the plugin again. FYI, ProgramData is a hidden directory.

i'm sorry but I have no clue what that means. I went to the above thing by putting it in the search box and found it however it did not reload the presets. this is a shame because I really liked BREVERB. i'll call cakewalk tomorrow and see what they say.

good morning everyone, I just discovered the strangest thing associated with my breverb problem. when I open breverb in pro channel I get all the presets however when I open it normally i.e. FX bin it still does not show presets

I had the same issue. I didn't find any breverb key on registry which tell where the banks are.
So I tried to copy the "factory-presets.db" where the .dll is ==> didn't change anything.
I have the same problem with TH2.
 
The "import from file" don't work for *.db.
 
However, I have found a way to have the factory preset back : 
- under "banks", right click ==> "Create new"
- chose the name you want
- right click on the new bank and choose "restore from factory bank..."
- chose the factory bank you want to restore
- repet the operation for all the factory banks
