I have a large clip and I cut 3 little pieces from the end of the clip. I mark them and put them to the right. As you can see, they are getting smaller and larger as soon I put them to the right or left.
Never seen this, so it must be since the last update....strange...

It has to do with Tempo Changes! I took the next old file I could see, just to cut out fast three little clips, but in this file there were Tempo changes.

The length of the moved clips are following the tempo changes, but playing at normal tempo, no tempo change for the audio clips, but the holes are there, if I put them to the right....

After deleting any tempo changes, all is normal!

or change the track clip behaviour from musical to absolute.

Yes, since the M:B:T grid is the fixed reference in SONAR, and the Now time cursor travels faster or slower according to the tempo, audio clips will appear to change length when the tempo changes. This can be a little disconcerting until you get used to it since it's natural to expect absolute time to be the fixed reference.

EDIT: Changing the timeline display won't change this; the visual intervals in the absolute time scale will vary with tempo while the M:B:T grid remains constant.

@Aksuaho
changing from Musical to Absolute doesn't change anything, same behavior as before!

@brundlefly
Normally for cutting Audio I make a new Project and the Tempo doesn't change, but it was crazy to see what's happening:)
So now I know it:)

Thanks;)
