The #1 issue at Gibson is its
Gibson Nashville, not
Gibson, Inc. Kalamazoo MI.
But that era ended a long time ago.
Current production is "hit and miss".
I have a (2008 IIRC) ES339 that is a "very good" guitar; but I've played many I would never take home.
Had a 2003 "We finally got it right" Brazilian board R7; the nut was a MESS; never should have left the shop
until it played "right", and the Burstbuckers, what a pile! (but that's just me)
Played an R&S reliced '03 Braz board R9. As "close" to the "real" thing as I've ever played!
Hit you in the gut like a sledgehammer!
Guy didn't accept Visa (what??), saved me some money to be sure; but I would be "happy" with that baby!
Just my nickel 98...
