I do wish that BandLab kept Session Drummer 3.  I don't like the old version that they kept so can anyone suggest a good replacement that is not to expensive. I do still have SONAR Pro but I was having audio issues with both installed on my new computer, so I decided to go with Cakewalk.  I'm liking Cakewalk a bit better than SONAR Pro.

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

I guess it depends what you consider expensive.  There's ones like Superior Drummer and EZDrummer, but they're a little pricey to me.  But there's also Geist2 I've tried the trial for, however I would wait til it goes on sale at PluginBoutique, usually goes on sale for 50%

Addictive Drums 2 is decent.

At JRRShop the AD2 "Custom" deal is $125.16 with code"GROUP" in the cart, and includes your choice of 3 kits, 3 MIDI packs, and 3 additional kit pieces.

What audio issues were you having with Sonar Professional and Cakewalk by Bandlab installed?  You can use Session Drummer 3 in Cakewalk by Bandlab.

Addictive Drums is ok, but the one thing I find that makes it unusable for me personally is you can't load your own drum samples in it

Why would you want to load your own samples? = too much time spent not making music.

Before you spend any money on a drum vsti, I strongly recommend you try MT Power Drumkit 2, which is FREE:

It doesn't take anymore time than it would sorting through preloaded samples, in fact I find it quicker, drag and drop a sample from the browser onto the drum pad you want it to replace, just that easy

What do you mean by that? Who kept what? You're saying BandLab didn't keep but then you're saying they kept "an old version" ???
