I looked at the products page... That's the closest to the info I'm looking for...

It seems my understanding is correct, but sometimes it diesnt seem to be performing that way... ;-)

I'd love to find some info that describes the process by which it determines ratio etc... What kind of level change makes it shift from say 4:1 or 12:1 and how rapid/often are the changes in this if any?

I need to circle back on this at some point. I never looked at the threshold in detail but it seems the compression is also having makeup gain added there. Made me realize I never thought about the white bars on the input meter either... Seems most ref. videos are using the threshold set between the orange and white areas, but never seen a definition of them.
