I know this has probably been asked and answered but I couldn't figure out the proper terms to get positive results in the search.

I have a midi track assigned to Rapture Pro audio track. I want to record the output to another track. I looked in the manual but nothing worked. I'm doing it wrong or I don't correctly understand how to set it up. Because I'm getting a recording.

Thanks

After freezing you can save it as an audio track that way permanently?

I think this link should help. Also watch this video.
You can also set up an aux track to do this but its unnecessary if you follow the above.

I don't bother with that. Sonar creates an audio file that is the same as if you bounced it or exported it. Sonar's freeze is nothing like other DAWs freeze. Its the very best freeze out there. But suppose you don't like it you just unfreeze. It is way cool. Also you have options that you can set. Its really the coolest way to get a synth to create audio. That is not so true of other DAWs. Need I say I really like Sonar's freeze!
