Can you share a stripped down version of the project that does this?

Both the bus aux inputs in my case are stereo. And the difference is 6dB rather than 3.

As for sharing a stripped down version of the project, I might be able to, but that's a lower priority than trying to get Sonar to freeze a synth without crashing, which is currently occupying my time.

If you are having problems with a particular synth, try using a patchpoint to record the synth as audio rather than freeze. I had to do that when I ran into a problem with a synth.

Nope, seems to be any of a number of different synths which I've bounced in other projects without problem before, and which playback and render okay otherwise. Just another time-wasting glitch.

Another 'fun' bug encountered during experimenting with this - toggle the stereo interleave option of a track in the Inspector and the channel strip of its output next to it disappears and is replaced with a main out. *slow clap*
