Hi. I have already started to use it regularly. I have learned some new shortcuts, even if I had to abandon my former use of the letter Y
All the best.

I think its a great idea, id love to see it expanded to explain all the different modules on the pro channel, hell even the synths/effects that come with sonar

I find it useless so I must be doing something wrong. It only provides a sentence or two and then takes you to the tried and true help system we've always had. I can't find any new functionality with it so... another over hyped feature.

Before the Help Module was implemented, how were you able to find out what keys were assigned to what menu items in the PRV?

The Help Module is definitely a great addition, because it will help both the new and existing users, and will probably increase sales a bit so that CW can hire more people and assign them to their bug fix department.

I'm one of the 'seasoned users' and I still find Help Module useful. I've learned many shortcuts and found old, hidden features.

Sorry, I haven't been amazed by the new Help Module. I've used Cakewalk software for a very long time, and find most of the Help Module things are just fairly obvious to me. I appreciate that for new users of the software these help pointers will be a huge asset to learning as you go through it all, but it seems the recent additions of "Help Module" and "Add Track" buttons are mostly to accommodate new users.

I hope, as Craig Anderton says (Post #8) , "Help Module" will continue to develop over time, so that some of the deeper, less obvious Cakewalk features, will have Help Module pointers added to the database to accommodate the more experienced users.

I went back to the help module to have another look. My initial impressions were not great and everyone else seemed to think it was excellent. On my second go round I looked at onscreen controls and display features. If you are new to the program it is really quite good. In the past I looked at a section of the help manual and then read down several pages to find the bit I was interested in. This new system allows you to directly access that one piece of the pie.

So my initial opinion has done a 180. I just didn't pay enough attention in the excitement of getting the tempo mapping.

I've gone from an initial "I won't need to that" to a 2 thumbs up within minutes. I've been using Sonar for quite a while, but I'm a control surface person so I'm the one who knows the least about all the shortcuts ... and they are right there in your face now ... and I have discovered at least 10 "little things" that are helpful that I would have never bother to read up on in a manual

Great feature to have for Sonar.  Good job Bakers!

I love this addition. I see the day when all questions will eventually be replaced with, " Did you go to the help module"? OK that was a little bit too optimistic, but it should certainly put a huge dent in future inquiries.

I think we all get accustomed to certain ways of doing things. The help module offers a way to look at alternative solutions that could save time and make the project easier to work. As a long time user I welcome this and it certainly deserves kudos to all involved in the developement. Great job Sonar team!
