Hi all is there a way to change the Fonts of the titles of projects in the playlist view?
Peace

Greetings fellow playlist user! There is a font adjustment for lyric view, but not for the actual playlist as far as I know. I believe changing your font size under windows display settings is the only option. You are actually adjusting all of the system fonts in this case, so you can generally get away with +20% or so, but beyond that things get weird!

Someone else here may know clever workaround for this, but if not it would be an excellent feature request.

I am beginning to think however that playlist users may be very rare indeed!

I would love to use playlist in my live solo shows, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of info about it. Do you guys know of any good resources, videos, tutorials etc.?

The playlist really is a great function, and works very well once you get the hang of it Sir William.  Unfortunately I dont know of any videos. Below is a link to the online documentation, with a further 2 links on the bottom of that page. It is also explained in more detail on page 327 of the Sonar reference Guide PDF.

I save my projects for live use with a screenset arranged so that the project track view takes up only the upper right side of the screen, leaving space for the playlist down the left side (it's screen position is saved with the playlist), and a lyric view popup across the bottom of the screen when needed for learning new songs. You can of course just have the playlist view full screen if you wish. I also for the most part save my playlists with the pause between songs set to 'wait for keypress'. I then activate the enable playlist button. This way,  as a song finishes, the next song loads and waits for any keypress to commence playing. You can also load the next song whilst the current one is playing or between songs should you wish to reorder your set,  and it is very quick to load.

It is resonably straightforward. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you so much tenfoot. I shall certainly have a play with playlists. Can I just ask - as the next song plays, is the previous song unloaded and memory freed up?

It is as long as the playlist's enable button is active, unless you make a change to the song (move a fader etc). If Sonar sees the file as 'dirty' (the file change asterix indicator appears next to the project name at the top of the Sonar window) it will leave the project open in the background.

Hey Maltastudio.

Scaling the font size under control panel definitely makes all text, including the playlist, larger. I see you are running Win 10, so right click on the windows start menu button in the bottom left of the desktop (or wherever you have it) and choose control panel, then click on display. On the window that opens, under the heading 'change size of items, click on the linked text that says 'set a custom scaling level'. In the drop down box choose a percentage (try 150%  for a start), then click OK on that dialogue box, then apply on the next screen. A pop-up will tell you that you need to sign out to apply the settings. Click 'sign out now' . When you sign back in, your playlist text, along with everything else will be bigger.

Definitely let me know if you find a custom setting for it in an ini fiile anywhere. That would be great:)

Ah, that's a pity, because I was hoping to control things in real time (if needed) with a control surface. However, I can work around that. Thanks again. :)
