I think they do that so they could get a good laugh in the lunch room via that analytics data.
"Look, he did it again!"
"Oh and look, he added a track the old way"

"Obsolete!" "Obsolete!"

Maybe. LOL

Were thinking of wiring up something like this to the analytics :)

Still.

And you prefer this over the more intuitive plus button on the synth rack toolbar why?

I think it is obvious. It is much easier to right click on the big area than to hit the small button.

There is list of issues I have with Synth Rack:

1. Not sortable. Don't ask again why we need it, it is obvious and was discussed million times.
2. Mouse wheel doesn't work correctly in Synth Rack, it always goes to the very top or to the very bottom, sometimes very annoying.
3. No "Synth Enable" buttons in the docked view. It is nonsense. These buttons is the main thing why to use Synth Rack.
4. Rename synths doesn't affect track names.
5. It is difficult to disable midi outputs. If I don't want to have any Midi Outputs of synths enabled, it is not easy to control. I can't disable it preliminary, can't easily see if they enabled. Again, don't ask why I need it, discussed many times.

Thats the main I can remember. Of course, I think there is some more of functionality that can be added.

Yeah - this is bothersome. You probably already know this, but you can use the 'synth connected' drop-down at the top of the synth rack to disable/enable synths whilst docked in the browser.

Yeah I know :) Again, I should find this information here, then move mouse across the whole screen, find this small small button, hit menu item. Is it also supposed to be more intuitive? No, it is just bad design. And if you need to enable or disable several synths?
