With the JamPointz they gave (us) me, I got MODO for $104.99. Then with the remaining JamPointz (after MODO purchase) I got the T-Racks 5 upgrade pre-order for $70.99 (I already owned all of the T-Racks modules so that was all I needed).

$249.98 worth of stuff for $175.98. It's like 30% off (kind of). And I now own MODO. yay

If I had waited for sales, maybe I'd have saved another $40?

Is there a way to preorder through the custom shop with gear credits?

Not at this time, no.  I've relayed the request to do so but I don't believe it is planned.  I'll keep you updated if things change, though.

Gear Credits seem to be getting more worthless with each new IK release. First we were told that we couldn't use them on things like MODO and LMC since those aren't part of the T-RackS / Amplitube / Sampletank product lines. Now we hear that we can't use them on new T-RackS stuff either.

Purchases of Gear Credits should come with a caveat that they may or may not be used for anything you might actually want to buy.

Eddie

"The word comes from guappo, a word in Sicilian and Neapolitan dialects that means a swaggering thug. It’s ultimately derived from the Latin vappa, or “sour wine,” a word the Romans used figuratively for a worthless guy." Feels like home!

Sorry, but in the U.S. that is most definitely NOT what that word means (at least where I'm from and where I've been) and as an Italian-American I find it extremely offensive.  Whether it has been co-opted or not, where I am and for my whole life (and also for my family members, especially those that immigrated here) it has been considered a slur.

Shouldn't be. Italy is everything. The food, the sun, the women, the architecture. Everything. Well, maybe not Berlusconi ;)
Found it interesting how "guappo" sounds like the Spanish "guappa" which is used for pretty girls. But I guess it's quite different indeed. Anyway, cherish your Italian origins! Wish I was one.
Edith: should be "guapa", you stupid woman.

I think it's only for pre-order.
All will be fine when it's launched.
(At least I hope.)

Yeah well the pre-order price won't be in effect once T5 is available, will it?

As usual, the IK pricing scheme is a deep, dark labyrinth fraught with unexpected twists and turns. Where's my copy of "IK Shopping for Dummies, Vol. 1?"

Also, if you have few or none T-RackS plugins but do own SampleTank or Syntronik, that $199 T-RackS MAX pack is as sweet as they come.

This did it for me, plus 6 jam points.  Thirty eight modules, that comes out to $5.00 per.  Of course most I probably won't use, but there are more than a few gems in there.

Then I saw the MODO bass video, and the cross grade price, and having 11 more jam points from the T Racks deal, I swallowed, and bought it too, for $138.00.

I can't believe I did that, but the MODO looks like a beast.

Thanks for the intel ya'all.

Mesh, use your Gear Credits and get the SVX2. You spend nothing out of pocket and that just about zero's you out. You would have to buy more Gear Credits to get just about anything else. It will never get more perfect.
I thought WOP was an Ellis Island immigration thing meaning With Out Papers.
Spanish does have a masculine equivalent, guapo.
