I get that you hold a key down & press another one to set up - start / stop or pretty much any key command - that's very neat for keyboards.  But what I want to know is : Is it possible to use a Midi Note to control Sonar WITHOUT the need to also specify a Midi Shift key?

The reason is because I have an old (and built like a tank) midi foot controller that can only send out either program numbers or 12 individual Midi notes.  What I would like to be able to do is assign each of the twelve foot switches to different functions in Sonar.  The foot controller only allows one note at a time, so the shift option isn't feasible (even ignoring having to use two feet at the same time).

I can't find anything online or in the software, so I am hoping there might be a value I can change buried in a file somewhere.

Many thanks in advance (even if it's a "Nope")

Hi Ken - that is exactly what I wanted, thank you so much.  It took a bit of brain power, but I managed to work it out in the end - top marks to you, sir  :)
