+1 to downloadable, but I believe this is a commercial track as the artist was referenced in another blog post as well, so such is unlikely.

The results so far are pretty interesting. Seems like this is a very subjective topic.

Please check the SoundCloud option that makes the files downloadable.

SoundCloud's player does not lend itself to proper A/B comparisons. I would prefer to load the files into a SONAR project so I could easily jump to the exact same locations in each version, including the original to hear what the mastering solution actually did to it.

Sorry, licensing issues :/

I just see boxes with the cloud logo and SOUNDCLOUD underneath.

I can play the songs directly on the blog page.  Even if the waveform disappears to be replace by "Hear more on Soundcloud" I can still click the play button (which is now invisible in the upper left of the box) to hear the song.  After pausing a song it can stutter quite a bit when I resume play, but this goes away after a while.

Soundcloud only requires permission for "soundcloud.com" (if you're on Firefox 41 or earlier that is.  I stopped at 41 because of the mess cookies have turned into since).

Well, I have allowed soundcloud.com (and cakewalk.com, of course). I just get the boxes with the logo, nothing happens when I click on them. The only other sites still forbidden are surveymonkey and google analytics, and they cannot have anything to do with playing soundcloud.

Ah, well. Not so important, really.

Solid point. But it would have been cool to see if any Sonar users could submit a Master of the raw mix. I'd love to have a gander at it.

Possible SoundCloud uses GA and fails if it's not available (I've run into this elsewhere).

Mastering is mainly about cohesion & continuity between songs in a musical project.
To be useful you need to master several songs together, not just one.

What is GA?

Google Analytics.  Google Scripts is also another site/set of scripts that gets used a lot and blocking it can cause things to fail unexpectedly.
